This site should work for you whatever you use to read it. Below are the standard we hold it to, what it does today, and its known limitations.

The standard we work to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.1, at Level AA. This site substantially conforms to that standard. We describe it that way rather than claiming certification because no independent audit has been commissioned.

We don’t use an accessibility overlay or plug-in. Those products sit on top of a page and frequently interfere with the screen readers and other software people already rely on, so the work is done in the site itself.

How this site is built

Every control can be reached and operated with a keyboard, and the element in focus is always visible. Menus close with the Escape key and return you to the button that opened them.

Pages are structured with headings and landmarks so assistive software can move through them, every photograph carries a written description, and text and its background are tested for contrast.

Nothing moves without a way to stop it. The video bands carry a pause control, and if your device is set to reduce motion, the clips and the scroll animations don’t run at all.

Known limitations

Our request form is hosted by Jobber, and its markup is outside our control. If any part of it is difficult to complete, telephone 405-974-9963 and we’ll take your details and send you the written estimate ourselves.

Reporting a problem

Tell us, and we’ll correct it. Email projects@ridgewaydevgroup.com or call 405-974-9963, and describe the page and what happened. We reply within one business day, and we’ll give you the information you were after by another route while the page itself is corrected.
